Examples of Special Solutions
LEAP Technologies has the experience and resources necessary to configure PAL robots with unique combinations of accessories, modules, and software tailored to specific needs of customers for stand alone sample prep as well as just-in-time injections in both laboratory and plant environments. LEAP offers the following capabilities at a fraction of the cost of more sophisticated robotics:
- Injections for GC, HPLC, LC/MS, SFC, NMR
- Fraction collection for analytical LC/MS with triggered re-injection
- Fraction collection for semi-prep LC for CTC or Gilson racks
- Fraction collection for Maldi MS, FTIR, NMR, Raman
- Discrete spotting for Maldi MS (most commercial plates)
- Injections into two separate GC’s or multiple LC’s
- Twin PAL robot for two simultaneous or alternating operations
- Mixing by orbital shaking or magnetic stirring
- Heating & cooling by peltier or water bath
- Filtrations via filter plates or Whatman UniPrep vials or ITSP
- Extractions by liquid/liquid, headspace, SPE, SPME (gas or liquid)
- ITEX (in-trap extractions)
- Thermal desorption, large volume GC injections, dirty matrix injections
- Gravimetric weighing
- Serial dilutions and large volume dilutions

LEAP will assist in the initial specification of the applications to ensure the proposed configuration meets customer requirements.
Installation and familiarization training will include hardware configuration, testing, and startup assistance. Twelve month warranty includes unlimited telephone support and module exchange programs. Extended warranties include annual preventative maintenance in addition to telephone support and module exchange programs.
For customers that want to write their own custom macros and injection cycles, LEAP offers software training at their facility in Carrboro, NC.
