Look Ahead (commonly referred to as Prep Ahead and Inject Ahead) the next sample that is to be injected is “prepared” while the data system method for the current sample is still running. The meaning of “prepared” ranges from simply aspirating the sample to complicated sample preparation procedures, e.g., sample derivatization
