Overview

One step derivitization with agitation; the Prep PAL takes reagent from a reagent inkwell, moves the reagent volume to the sample vial, then moves the sample vial consisting of the sample plus reagent to the agitator for mixing and heating, it then returns the sample vial to the tray, the COMBI PAL then takes the prepared liquid sample and injects it into the GC. The Prep PAL does not start the processing of the next sample until a delay expires which is a Method parameter. This prevents premature prep of the next sample. If it is set to zero, the Prep and extraction process for the next sample continues immediately.

Benefits

On-line derivitization assures equal treatment of each sample.
