Sample Filtration with ITSP System of Microliter Inc. |

Overview
ITSP* (Instrument Top Sample Prep) for Serial Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) or Sample Filtration uses a standard PAL syringe as the solvent reservoir for Microliter's disposable SPE cartridges. The combination replaces expensive dedicated SPE liquid handlers and cumbersome or inconsistent vacuum manifolds. Pressurizing multiple wells is eliminated, no loss of samples or inconsistency of extraction due to leaks or loss of vacuum. Furthermore standard SPE liquid handlers require a manual transfer of the extracted samples to a sample injector. Since the PAL itself is a sample injector this can be avoided using the automated ITSP – PAL combination. ITSP for PAL Systems is distributed exclusively by Microliter Inc.
Significant Markets
Any labs who are doing High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) or more significantly, Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) analysis. It is imperative that particles are eliminated to avoid blockage of HPLC lines and columns.
