Overview
Allows sandwiching of sample between user-selected volumes of wash solvent. In addition, after a user-specified delay, the injection valve is toggled back to the Load position and washed using the same solvent. This will be done after the standard syringe and valve wash sequence.
The pump system can get an injected signal that allows its program to increase flow rate for specific period of time to permit rapid introduction of sandwiched sample onto the column.
Benefits
To control small sample volumes for capillary injections. Can help minimize sample carryover since the last solvent that the valve sees is wash solvent
