Washing LC Valv |
Flushing the syringe and valve is essential. The selection of solvents and the number of flushes are of paramount importance. Although it may seem obvious, it is worth stating that flushing with ineffective solvent(s) is useless. There are many factors that will influence the effectiveness of the rinse, strength and polarity among them, but there are no hard and fast rules that apply to every case, so the end-user/chemist must be sure to choose solvents that will get the job done.
