Travel expenses are a major component of service costs, but add little or no value to our services if the repair is not urgent. “As we looked at ways to deliver more value to our customers while keeping our costs down, we have found that about half of the services we perform could be scheduled in advance without detriment to our customers” says Alain Creissen – Director of Customer Support. As a result, LEAP has decided to reward customers that have a flexible schedule with a 50% discount on travel charges. Any customer scheduling preventive maintenance and other non-urgent on-site visit can benefit from the reduced price starting October 1st, 2009.
